Expert meeting, 14 September 2010: Sharing Shareframe...

On 14 September 2010 Educaids organizes an expert meeting in De Balie, Amsterdam, on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) in Education. (In cooperation with WPF and the Dutch CABA working group.)

The expert meeting will bring in the concept of Sexual and Reproductive Health & Rights, as the broader perspective for approaching the issue of HIV/AIDS in education. The experiences of Educaids in the Shareframe trajectory will be an innovative starting point to further discuss the integration of HIV prevention in education.

We and representatives from Uganda would like to discuss with you questions like:

- What is the value of the Shareframe approach?

- What is the added value of networking to build capacity for education on SRHR?

- How can we improve this in our practie and that of our partners?

Please pre-register for this whole-day activity, by sending an email to jdrost@prismaweb.org

Conference for high-level religious leaders in Uganda

End October 2010, Educaids UGANDA and KENYA are organizing together with the INERELA+ network a 4-day conference in Entebbe (Uganda) for high-level religious leaders from Kenya and Uganda. The aim of the conference is to discuss the role and position of religious leaders in the fight against HIV/AIDS through education. Focus will be on the evidence provided by the Shareframe research trajectory and the concept of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, as starting points for educational programmes on prevention and care. Educaids expects the outcomes of the conference to be supportive for the educational programmes of Educaids partners in Kenya and Uganda.
